Our Vision
Wonderfully made, inspired to shape the world
Our vision is deeply rooted in Psalm 139:14: "I will praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made." This verse underpins our belief that every individual is unique; fearfully and wonderfully made in God's image, possessing talents and aspirations that we will nurture at St. George's.
We aspire for our children to leave school with a strong sense of self-belief, identity and community that extends beyond our gates. We believe in empowering them to make positive contributions to their communities and the wider world.
This vision runs through everything we do at St George's. Each Monday, our collective worship brings the vision to life by linking to current events, celebrating inspiring people, exploring children's aspirations, and reflecting on significant events that shape our world. Our Fantastic Friday awards celebrate those children who are living the vision and making a positive impact in our school community. Our vision is embedded in our Behaviour and Relationships policy, shapes our enrichment opportunities, and is reflected in the way our community treats each other with respect and inclusivity. From the classroom to the playground, from our partnerships with families to our work in the wider Redditch community, our vision of being "wonderfully made, inspired to shape the world" guides our actions and relationships every day.
